How do I get him back?

“I would like to know how to get my guy back! I was dating this guy for close to two years before we broke up. We ended our relationship because we never get to see each other, but now I think that I would like to try to get him back. I have told him that I would like to be with him again. He tells me that he loves me, but that he is confused about what to do because he is still hurt. I do not think that that is a good reason for us to not get back together though. He calls me his wife and tells me that he loves me still. Yet he won’t say that he wants me back. What do I do so that I can get him back to being mine again?”

I think that this is a very real case of a guy who “wants his cake and to eat it too”. He wants to tell you everything so that he still keeps you interested in him and showing you some amount of love. You are pretty much his fall back girl. If he will not tell you that he wants to be with you when you are flat out telling him that you want to be with him, then you need to take the hint. He is keeping you there because you are safe to him, but don’t give him all of you when he won’t do the same in return. He probably doesn’t know exactly what he wants so he is keeping you close in case he decides that he wants to be with you, but keeping you far enough away that he can still look to see if there is something else out there that interests him more. You should probably take a break from him for a few weeks. Tell him that you want him to decide exactly what he feels for you, either he wants to be with you, or he wants to be friends and needs to keep talking to you like you are more than friends. You cannot make him want to be with you. You can only make yourself feel more comfortable about the situation.
