Always remember, never forget! Appreciation is most important in life!

Published by misstina at 10:29 am under General Relationships Edit This

Honor the FallenSo I know that this is a few days late, Things have been extremely hectic lately. But I did not want to risk never saying anything to honor the memory of everyone who lost their lives on September 11. Every year these people should be remembered by the entire country, and be honored. Not only the innocent civilians that died, but the many heroes who risked, or lost their lives trying to get everyone to safety.

Every year there are many days and moments that pass when I feel like I have just got hit with this reality check and realized, maybe I am not being the best me that I can be. Maybe I can be kinder, maybe I can be more open minded, maybe I can tell the ones I love that I appreciate them more often, maybe I can ask less and do more. At the end of those days, those are the days that I realize; yes I can do more, should do more, and will do more! However, I also realize at the end of those days that the fact that I ask myself these things proves that I care about more than just myself and that I do make a point to let others know that.

How often do you question what is your number one importance in life? How often do you re-evaluate the way that you are living your life? Do you every question if you are showing others enough love, trust and affection? If you lost someone close to you tomorrow would you believe that they knew how you truly felt and much cared for them?
Do you ever sit around thinking about how much you wished someone else could just show you affection for all of the things you do for them? Do you ever feel that you are being taken advantage of? In those moments do you stop to think about how you show your appreciation, are you asking for more than even you give? I believe that you can never show another person too much appreciation for what they do to improve your life and improve your life, but you often show too little. Remember, when you always hear the same typical expected phrase you begin to think there is less and less meaning behind it? That is how everyone feels sometimes, so don’t think your simple ‘Thank you’ is going to work for everyone in every situation.

You always need to respect your fellow people! There are so many things that could happen every day and sadly you can quickly lose that person that means the most to you. Remember we need to value the days that we have, as well as the people, and things!

I would like to formally apologize about not having this up on September 11th. I have been working on helping a friend get ready for their wedding, as well as working on helping another friend raise money for a walk to defeat ALS. Her uncle was diagnosed with ALS a few months ago, and when they found his ALS it was already in one of its last stages of the disease. We found out about a walk to defeat ALS at the last minute and put as many resources to raising money for it and getting a team together for the walk as quickly as possible.
